Daniel's interest in the healing power of nature began as a young child when he would spend his summers identifying and learning about medicinal plants growing wild in the woods behind his grandmother’s cottage in New Hampshire. This knowledge, that nature possesses the ability to promote healing and wellness, inspired him to follow a career in naturopathic medicine. He received his premedical training at the University of Guelph, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, with Honours, in nutritional and nutraceutical sciences in 2002.
Jonathan E. Prousky graduated from Bastyr University (Kenmore, WA) with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. He furthered his clinical training by completing a Family Practice Residency sponsored by the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. His pre-medical training was completed at the University of Toronto where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education. Jonathan also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Health Sciences from Bastyr University.
Kenn Luby, ND, is a past instructor of microbiology, immunology and genetics at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Kenn has presented evolving naturopathic protocols in HIV care to international HIV/AIDS conferences, federal and provincial ministries, and community support organizations. He is currently an instructor in homeopathy at CCNM and has an extensive practice treating immune system disorders in collaboration with medical colleagues, with a focus on homeopathy, nutrition and counseling.
Monique Aucoin is a naturopathic doctor and researcher. She provides naturopathic services at the IHC with a focus on mental health, stress management, autoimmune disease and teen health.
Monique graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and has additional training in mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy and mind-body medicine. She is passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health by restoring balance to the body and mind.
Dr. Maria Shapoval, ND is passionate about neurological conditions, women’s health and gastrointestinal disorders. After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), she completed a 2-yr research residency focusing on Parkinson’s disease and has presented at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians conference on the topic of Women’s Health and Circadian Rhythms.
Dr. Ehab Mohammed is a licensed naturopathic doctor, board certified from the College of Naturopaths in Ontario. Ehab completed conventional medical school training in Egypt.
Dr. Jamila James, ND, provides naturopathic services at the IHC with a special focus on weight management. Approachable and action-oriented, her mission is to help you achieve your health goals by providing naturopathic services and wellness resources that will enable you to attain and maintain great health.
